Energy Storage Auxiliary Frequency Modulation Control Strategy Considering ACE and SOC of Energy Storage

As more and unconventional energy sources are being applied in the field of power generation, frequency fluctuation system becomes serious. The modulation thermal unit has disadvantages such as long response time slow climbing speed. Battery storage gradually become a research hotspot due to its quick flexible regulation. This article first introduced control method based on signal ACE (Area Control Error), which is basic way secondary analyzed features mode. Then it zoned SOC battery system. On this basis, different methods were proposed according requirements characteristics output regions. In addition, fuzzy controller used smooth under normal adjustment regional deviation charging discharging state SOC. Finally, two-region interconnection simulation was established MATLAB platform, results verified effectiveness strategy.
